Commission Round-up

Here are some of the commissions that I’ve had the pleasure of drawing this week. I got to say, it’s been a real blast so far. I’m nearly caught up with everything, so I’ll be ready for any more work you may want to send my way next week. Thank You all.

Study in Penguin

Hey Ktinoids, I don’t know how many of you checked out Steven Moffat’s Sherlock from the BBC, but I for one loved it. It captured all the fun and intelligence of the great detective in the first episode alone. I’ve been meaning to stretch the old design muscles of late and figured a Penguin paperback sendup of the three episode series would be a fun place to start.

Now Drawing Full-time

So, I’ve finally done it. I’ve ceased employment at my day job to pursue my art full-time. I wasn’t an easy decision to make, but it was the right time to make it. I’ve got projects lined up for the rest of the year, so I’ll be busy, and have plenty of stuff to show you here at ktino.com.

I’ve got a web-comic launching next week called the NEPTONIAN. I’ll be updating that twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays here at the site.

I’ve got a book called BLACK COBRA, which I will be talking more about very soon. I’m really excited about that one. It’s basically everything I want to draw in one book.

And I’m now seriously taking commissions:

I didn’t really have time to commit to do commissions before, but now I set my own schedule. I’ll make time for it, and get it back to you without undue delay. If you have any inquiries regarding a piece that doesn’t fit the descriptions above, just send me an email and we’ll figure it out. I love drawing, and I want to draw for you.

Agent Woo: 1956

There is something remarkably cool about Jimmy Woo, even before ATLAS. Chinese American FBI agent who hunts down the Yellow Claw. I’d draw the MARVEL MAX series of that. Jack Kirby even had a chance to touch the character back in the day.
